Paddy's day parade

Today we went to Chase's first St. Patrick's Day parade in Jackson.  We got there about an hour and a half early to beat some of the crowd, but Chase ended up falling asleep about 10 minutes before the parade started.  He slept through dozens of motorcycle police driving back and forth in front of us with their sirens on for about 10 minutes, bagpipers, dozens of floats blaring loud music, and a marching jazz band.  If he can sleep through all of that, how is it he can wake up by me trying to cover him up at night? lol.  Children are indeed a mystery :)  He woke up about 15 minutes before the parade ended.  But by then we were busy dodging all of the flying beads and plastic cups being fired from the floats, so he still didn't see a whole lot!  Good time, though!
