Today Chase met his first new friend. Or girlfriend, if you prefer! I had an interview with a family a few miles away who are looking for a once/twice a week babysitter at nights. Since Nate was working, I had to take Chase along with me. I think this probably got me the job, because the little girl (Sophie) and her mom both loved him. It was so cute to watch him interacting with another baby. This is the first time he's gotten the chance to play with another person his age, other than going crazy at his own reflection. She is also 8 months old, is talking and took her first two steps while we were there! How exciting! I'm looking forward to babysitting her. She seems like a sweet little thing :)

After the interview (and subsequent hiring!), Nana stopped by to see Chase in his special Valentines onesie she bought him (the tuxedo he's wearing above), and to see him crawl. And this evening he had a v-day skype with Grammie. Busy day for a little guy - he's gonna sleep good tonight!
