Hiatus

I haven't forgotten about the blog, I swear! I've been taking pictures every day, but our camera cord has gone missing.  I've spent the past few days looking for it and no luck :(  Not sure when or if we'll find it, so I guess just hang in there!

July 6-9th

July 6th: Someone has taught him to be addicted to ice cream! :P

July 7th: Showing off how strong he is by carrying the cat's pirate ship all around the house! He was SO proud of himself!

July 8th: Hanging out with Alphie!

July 9th: Sophie came over for a play date!  Yay!

July 3-5

July 3rd - Grandma and Grandpa came over for the morning.  We went out to eat at Cheddar's for lunch, then had to say goodbyes =(  Getting pictures of the baby was easy though - it was the Great-Grandparents that I struggled with! haha!

July 4th - Chase tried his first pickles.  I think he's a little on the fence about them!

July 5th - Chase stayed home with Dada while I went to my interview.  Later Nana stopped by to say hi and they went to get ice cream and played while we went to see Transformers.  Still can't get used to leaving him to go see movies!!

No idea how this could even be remotely comfortable - but he seems to enjoy it!

Great-Grandma and Grandpa's visit!

My Grandma and Grandpa got here today!  Unfortunately they have no extra vacation time, but we spent most of the day today together, and will get half of tomorrow too.  Love seeing them!  Chase is MUCH, much bigger now - last time Grandma saw him he couldn't even crawl yet, and last time Grandpa saw him he was only 2 months old!  We went to lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings and hung out mostly at the apartment, with a little kroger trip thrown in.  Chase got a sweet baby blackberry out of the deal - maybe he'll leave mommy's alone now!

Great-Grandpa went to the store to get him some milk and came back with a yummy treat!  Yay ice cream!

June 27-July 1st

I don't actually have a photo from today (fail :(), but I have the rest of the week =) I'm not even sure why we didn't get a picture today! We played a lot.  But we were cleaning a lot too - Gram and Grandpa are here tomorrow!  Yay!

June 27:

In the past few days he's been laying down when he starts getting worn out.  Usually he'll grab his blankie, cover himself up, and then faceplant on the floor.  This time he happened to land on the pillow like a big boy =)

June 28th:

June 29: We went to have our family portrait taken for my Mom.  It was soooo hot, but Chase was such a good sport!

June 30:

Chase "answering" my phone - whenever you say "hello!" he'll put whatever he's holding up to the back of his head and babble haha
