Two more toothies!

Two new teeth popped up today - one on each side of his top front teeth.  That brings the total up to 6 - such a big boy!

April 26, 2011 (First Step!!!)

He was hauling this toy around for ages - wouldn't let go of it no matter where he was trying to squeeze through with it!  Cute!

And he took his first step!!! All by himself, he took one step and then fell over.  Daddy missed it, but he started trying to get him to do it again, and surprise surprise, he did!  Hasn't gotten more than one step yet, but we have progress!

I ended up babysitting Sophie this day, so only got one picture (and not even sure why I took that one! haha.  Lucky!).

He had been turning the wheels, but by the time I got the camera to take the picture (really slow when the battery is almost dead) he was already bored and crawled away.

Chase got his first Easter basket today!  Instead of an actual basket, I got him a little bucket (he can use it at the beach when we go to the coast this summer, I figured :) - plus he really likes buckets for some reason!).  We filled it with little toys, since he can't have candy. 

April 23, 2011 - Easter Bunny day!

Chase met the Easter Bunny for the first time!  We went back to Bass Pro Shop, since their set up for Christmas was so good.  MUCH shorter line for Easter, thank goodness!  I gave him a bath in the morning while Nate went to pick up a desk.  Right after his bath he went down for his nap, and when he woke up he had the fluffiest little alfalfa poof on top of his head.  Nothing got rid of it.  We wet it down, but when it dried it just stood straight up again.  haha!  So he met the Easter Bunny with crazy hair.  But he was still adorable!

We only have one photo from Thursday.  Daddy took the camera to work, so it's a terrible quality phone photo.  Chase came with me to my church nursery job Thursday and Friday nights, so he got to play with some new toys and had a great time hamming it up for his newest audience :)

He loved the little sock toy/whatever that thing is!  He had a great time with it; until he choked on his own spit that is!

Wild goose chase(er)

Chase and daddy went to the park today.  Apparently he had some geese and ducks there to terrorize (it was the park near the reservoir), and had a heck of a time chasing them around.  Daddy got a few pics to share.

Later he and daddy met me at walmart (picking up his bday present that just came in), and then daddy made him a fort out of the box it came in.  Chase wasn't falling for the "crawl in the box" trick though - he just sat outside it and played.  Haha.  Maybe in a year or two he'll be more interested!

Watermelon!

Chase had watermelon for the first time today.  He wasn't too impressed with it when it was in small chunks, but once I gave him a big wedge he couldn't get enough!  And what a mess!!
