Christmas again, and again. And again?

I seem to be developing bad habits about getting these pictures up, now that I've had a bit of a break from it.  Here is yesterday's:

Today turned out to be Christmas all over again at our house.  Aunt Manda shipped a truckload of boxes to us - literally, if Nate hadn't gone out to help the poor mail lady, she would've had to make probably 4 trips.  So Chase got a ton of new clothes and books and toys to play with.  Here are a few pictures of him checking out his new stuff:

He spent a lot of today sleeping.  Between the extra napping and the extra drooling, I'm tempted to think he is teething again.  We went over to Aunt Connie and Uncle Bryan's and hung out this afternoon, too.  He got another xmas present from Oma Heidi (a giant stuffed leopard).  Boy made out today!  And apparently more coming from Aunt Susan.  Spoiled baby! :)

And we're back!

Jan 27th, watching Aladdin and playing with toys while Mommy tries to unpack!

Jan 28th, attempting use of a sippy cup.  Not really sure what it's for, but it's good to chew on!

Jan 29th, harrassing the kitty, and still trying to figure out how this crawling thing works.

On the trip he also met Grandpa Bob's family, Mommy's friends Elly, Patti, and Jilly, and Uncle Norman.  He saw Great-Grandma Nancy again, and met her son Adam too.  Unfortunately Mommy didn't think to get pictures of any of them, and Grandma Lori outsmarted Mommy and managed to stay out of pictures :P

No picture of today yet, but we'll try to get to it soon :)

Trip

Not even a month into the blog and I'll already be breaking tradition!  Unfortunately my mother has been admitted to the hospital with bowel blockage.  If they cannot get it flushed out, they will have to perform surgery.  My dad died after having surgery in the same area, so I'm pretty paranoid about this.  So tomorrow Chase and I will be driving north, thanks to my friend Chris and Nate's dad/step-mom.  While we are up there we most likely will not have internet access, but I will try to keep up with taking pictures daily (since he will be meeting lots of my side of the family!) and just do a giant catch up post when we return.  Here are today's photos, getting some snuggle time in with daddy before we leave him for a week or two.

Naps

Not much to report today.  I worked this morning, so had no time with the little guy.  Once I got home, all he seemed to want to do was nap!  We played for about a half hour, and I did get a few pictures of that.  More time together tomorrow :)

Happy

Sick is gone, baby is happy, and that makes everyone happy! We have done nothing but play and snuggle and read and laugh all day long.  It's such a relief to have him back to normal.  I've missed his laugh and smile!

Quiet

Today has been rather quiet here.  Chase wore an Oregon shirt from Grammie and Papa to cheer on Oregon.  Nana stopped over this morning while he was in the bath with a Tuxedo onesie for valentines day.  Can't wait to see him in it - will be so cute!  She fed him his 2nd bottle, and then we played for awhile when she left and Daddy went to work. 

After naptime, I tried to take a few pictures, but he stole the camera and took a few photos of himself!

And then he and Daddy watched the game while I made dinner.  And off to bed he went :)
