January 5th

Today was Grandma Betty's birthday!  Called her first thing this morning :)  Chase missed Auntie Trisha's visit this morning too, but she came over and went over some tips about eating diabetic style, since I'm now insulin resistant (yay.)

So, for dinner I made myself a flatbread pizza wrap with spinach and salami/cheese - Chase had already eaten and still smashed 3/4 of my pizza, spinach and all!  Haha.  Here he is smashing:

Now we are chilling and playing his latest game obsession - FB Farmville 2 hahaha.  Peace out, folks!

January 4th

Cuddling with Lily after school (had to cover up my credit card laying on the rug haha)

He created a new 'game' for us to play when he got home, so this was him sketching out the game board.

He kept losing :D

And just for fun - Lake Superior today :)  Full of little ice chunks.  It was about 3*F

January 3rd

Today, Chase finally mastered tying his shoes 😁

And spent some time playing with Lucian. He loves his kitties 😍😊

Jan 2nd

Today was Chase's last day before school started back up.  We spent it playing Minecraft, Plants VS. Zombies, and taking down Christmas stuff.  Here's him pretending to be a zombie on his way to eat me 😂

And shoveling 'brains' (popcorn) into his face 🙄

Gonna miss my little undead compadre when he goes off to school tomorrow! ☹

Starting over

Several years later, but he's still growing at a crazy rate so... why not!  Here's to another year of this cute little face :)

Today's photo is Chase scolding me because he thought I'd used his laptop.  "Cait Lantrip! Why is your name on my computer?  Were you USING my computer?  HMMMMM???" bahahaha.  My name has actually been on it for over a year (and he signs into it EVERY DAY!) because I was the one who set it up with my google account since he's too young to have one.  It just took him over a year to notice hahahaha.  This kid kills me.  Happy New Year!

Friday, March 15

Last day of Spring Break!  Booooo!  Chase had fun, though!  He spent most of the day with Nana and PawPaw, and then we went to Sophia's house after his nap.  They got to play most of the afternoon, after a quick visit to see the Easter Bunny for Sophie's photo (Chase is getting his later).

Only picture I managed to get today was him playing with Sophie's light saber, "hiyah!"ing everything in sight :)
